The industrial enterprise “Cables connectors “Standard” was established in 2004. The mail activity of the enterprise is the production of coupling joints, reducing joints, end terminations for paper and plastic insulated cables for the tension from 1 to 10 kW. Our company has been created based on the industrial company “STROYTEX”, manufacturer of coupling thimbles and end caps with contact bolt with detachable head for more than 8 years. As you know the coupling thimbles and end caps are one of the main elements of any connectors.

There are 150 peoples on the enterprise including engineers, process engineers, foremen, estimators, quality engineers, and others. All specialists have higher and specialized secondary education. We have more than 16000 m² production areas, they are fully equipped with the necessary equipment by domestic and import production. The main factory is situated in Unecha, Bryansk region, in 70 km far from the frontier between Ukraine and Belorussia. Nowadays our production volume (cable terminations) is 7000-8000 sets a month.  It is cable coupling sleeves and cable termination and 1-10 kW paper insulated cables. But last time the demand on plastic insulated and heat shrinkable insulated materials increases.

We decided to create such an enterprise due to the situation developed on the market of cable fittings based on heat shrinkable materials in Russia in the late nineties. By this time we were already familiar with production of Raychem company delivering the cable connectors on the Russian market on basis of heat shrinkable materials.  However the crisis of 98, when the rouble devalued, and the import connectors became rather expensive treat, urged some Russian enterprises on the production of such products in Russia. Therewith the governmental program of the support of Russian manufacturer favoured it.

Guided by the experience of Raychem cable fittings practically all enterprises took as a basis its packaging arrangement and based on practical experience and requirements of working organizations they are changed a little and completed the design characteristics of the product . We are not the exception too.

The principal special feature and the base of the work of our enterprise became the joint collaboration with one of the European companies producing a large range of heat shrinkable insulated materials where the production technologies of such articles have been working out for many years.
